£100,000 is being made available to tackle increasing knife crime in Leicestershire.
The cash will be offered to organisations working to turn around the lives of those who wield weapons.

Police seized this knife from a woman in Market Harborough
The County’s Police and Crime Commissioner Willy Bach is behind the move, which will also see £10,000 spent on placing special ‘Catastrophic Hemorrhage Packs’ in 120 police vehicles, to assist officers first on the scene of attacks.
There have been three stabbings in Market Harborough this year – one at Edwin Court on Kettering Road, another in Abbey Street and one in North Bank off Coventry Road – all leaving victims with serious injuries.
A number of knives have also been seized by Harborough Police.
