‘Museum Minis’ To Launch

Written by on 13th August 2019

New free monthly sessions are being launched by Harborough Museum and Market Harborough Library for two to five-year-olds to help them learn through crafts and story-telling.

‘Museum Minis’ will run on the first Friday of every month and will teach children what the museum has to offer through a story, touch, smell and a craft session.

It’ll build on the success of the museum’s ‘Wriggly Readers story and rhyme time sessions that already take place.

The first session takes place on Friday 6th September, where young visitors will learn all about the exciting Tudor adventurers Anthony Jenkinson and Walter Raleigh. At the end of the session, they will be able to colour in a picture of Walter Raleigh and design their own medal.

Places on the first session can be booked by calling 0116 305 3627, email Harborough.museum@leics.gov.uk or see the website at www.harboroughmuseum.org.uk
