The ‘modern classics’, including two Ford Focus STs and a Suburu Impreza, were completely burnt out in the blaze – thought to have been started following the break-in in the early hours of Saturday, when the door of the barn was forced open.

Fire crews were called just after 8am, although when they arrived the barn and contents was already gutted and they were only able to dampen down.

It’s believed the fire was started earlier on in the night, but not spotted due to the remote location.

Police have launched an investigation, anyone with information should call Northants Police on 101.
