Missing Pet Skunk On The Run On Harborough Estate

A pet skunk which escaped from her owner’s home in Braybrooke is thought to be on the loose in Market Harborough.

Dominika is believed to have made the journey of over two miles to the Ashley Way estate, after a skunk resembling her was captured on CCTV in a garden in the early hours of yesterday.

A search is now underway to capture the 17-week-old animal after it escaped earlier this week and her owner Jayne McLaughlin is appealing for sightings.

While skunks are native to North America, they can be kept as pets in the UK.
