Medbourne Referendum today

The villagers of Medbourne are voting today (Thursday 28th June) on whether to approve their Neighbourhood Plan.
Following extensive consultations with residents and businesses, the seventy page document covers areas such as housing, employment, environment, transport and community facilities.
It follows similar referenda in Great Bowden and East Langton last Thursday and, if adopted, will become part of the Statutory Development Plan for Medbourne Parish for the next 14 years.
A simple “Yes” or “No” is all that’s needed from those eligible for the poll – which takes place between 7am and 10pm in Medbourne Village Hall.
