Market Harborough To Show Solidarity With Israel

Lights in Market Harborough town centre will shine blue and white tonight to show solidarity with the people of Israel.

Harborough District Council will switch lights around the Symington Building and The Square. to the colours of the country’s flag.

Israel has formally declared war on militant group Hamas as its soldiers continue to fight Islamist militants in up to eight locations in the country.

Over 1,100 people have been killed in a weekend of violence with attacks by Hamas rockets and gunmen being avenged by air strikes on hundreds of targets in the Gaza strip.

It’s being widely reported that more than 10 Britons are feared dead or missing in Israel.
