Market Harborough Couple Celebrate Platinum Wedding Anniversary

A Market Harborough couple have received a card from the King and Queen to help celebrate their Platinum wedding anniversary.
Laurie and Joan Drayton married on this day 70 years ago, after first meeting at a church youth club.

The couple, aged 94 and 93, received the royal congratulations card this morning and have marked the milestone with a special lunch, ahead of celebrating with their family at a party on Saturday.
