Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was pushed to the ground and kicked by a group of youths in a park in Lutterworth.
The 76-year-old was assaulted after asking the teenage boys to stop kicking a bin.
He suffered a cut to his head, but did not require hospital treatment.
It happened just after 3.30pm on Monday while the man was walking his dog through the Coventry Road Recreation Ground.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “The suspects have been described as being between 14-16 years-old, one of them was wearing a black tracksuit, trainers and a gold necklace.
“Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of the park on Monday afternoon and witnessed the incident or do you know who was responsible for the assault?”
