Market Harborough Awaits Results Of Britain In Bloom Competition

Representatives from Market Harborough’s In Bloom team are in London for the results of this year’s Britain in Bloom competition.

The town was selected as the East Midlands’ entry into the prestigious national contest after winning the regional competition in 2022, which they won again this year.

Market Harborough in Bloom is one of just 44 community gardening groups to secure a place in the competition, run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and are up against nine other areas of the country in the Large Town category.

The winners will be announced live on  BBC1’s The One Show this evening.

Cllr Barbara Johnson, Chairman of Harborough District Council, accompanied judges when they toured town in August and is hoping for good news:
