Market Hall Heating Upgrade Moves Forward

The plan to upgrade heating at Harborough Market has moved forward.
The system in the Food Hall needs to be completely replaced ahead of winter, after failing earlier this year and being deemed beyond economical repair.
A planning application has now been lodged to site a condenser unit, which will form part of the new system, in an area of the market car park, off Northampton Road.
Harborough District Council set aside £145,000 for the upgrade in its budget approved earlier this year.
