Man Rescues Woman From Rising Flood Water

A restaurant owner has been hailed a hero after rescuing a driver from rising flood water in Great Glen.
Cimi Kazazi waded through waist-high water outside The Italian Greyhound restaurant to get to the woman, before carrying her to safety.

Dramatic footage showing the rescue early this morning has been shared online, with hundreds of people praising him for his actions.
Cimi was assessing major flood damage at his premises when he was made aware of the person in the car.
He told HFM it was ‘human instinct’ to do something:

The woman, who wants to remain anonymous, was taken into the restaurant to recover from her ordeal and has thanked Cimi for ‘saving her life.’
