Man cleared of attempted murder after stabbing near Market Harborough

A man has been found not guilty of attempting to murder another man near Market Harborough.
Henry Gaskin was cleared after a 10-day trial at Leicester Crown Court.
The 21-year-old, of Bodkin Row, Oakthorpe, had been accused of stabbing a man in his 20s on Gallow Field Road on 19 July last year, after an injured man was taken to Market Harborough Police Station.

Gaskin, who denied all the charges against him, was also found not guilty of wounding with intent.
However, he was convicted of possessing a knife in a public place and sentenced to six months in prison.
Having already served that time on remand, he was released from custody.
