Man Arrested Following ‘Aggravated Burglary’

Police have arrested a man in Desborough on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Officers were called to a house in Gold Street just after 9.30pm yesterday and carried out a search of the surrounding area.
A 31-year-old man was later arrested and remains in custody.
Northamptonshire Police say it is believed no-one was seriously injured during the incident.
