Man Accused Of Stabbing Appears In Court

A man accused of a stabbing in Desborough has pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent.
Matthew Lee, 27, of Nunnery Avenue in Rothwell, has appeared at Northampton Crown Court this afternoon, via videolink from HMP Lincoln.
He was charged after a man, aged 40, was stabbed in the arm in the area of Harrington Road and Addison Road on November 6th.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, before being discharged.
Lee has been remanded back into custody ahead of a trial next year.
