Lubenham Scarecrow Festival To Return For 20th Anniversary

Residents in Lubenham are preparing to host the village’s scarecrow festival next month.
It will mark the popular event’s 20th anniversary and will be back after the pandemic forced it to be cancelled for the past two years.

Dozens of villagers will be making scarecrows to display outside their homes over the weekend of September 10th and 11th.
The event will also include lots of stalls on the village green, live music hosted by HFM, tractor rides and fairground attractions.
Tomorrow, organisers are hosting a workshop on the Green to offer advice and tips as well as free straw.
