Logan Back Home For His 3rd Birthday

The owners of a dog found safe and well four days after being stolen from kennels in North Kilworth are thanking all who shared their appeal and helped locate him.

They believe Logan, a Cockerpoo, became too hot to handle for whoever took her, after news of the theft spread far and wide on social media.

The dog, which is three years old today, was spotted yesterday afternoon running loose in the village of Heather near Coalville.

He was caught a few hours later after a team of volunteers from Beauty’s Legacy, a group who look for stolen and missing animals, and East Midlands Animal Rescue, tracked him to fields near a farm using a drone.

Logan’s owners Liz and David White, from Burbage, had placed the dog in kennels while Liz recuperated, following an operation.
