Link Road Through Estate Finally Opens

A long-awaited link road has finally opened through Market Harborough’s Airfield Farm Estate.
The route along Harvest Road from the A4304 at Lubenham Hill and B6047 Leicester Road can now be used by drivers and pedestrians.
The link road connects one side of the estate with the other
The opening had been put back several times by developers for health and safety reasons, including construction traffic still crossing sections of the road.
Cllr Jo Asher, who represents the estate, has welcomed the opening:
The final section of the route – along Airfield Road to the roundabout by Harborough Innovation Centre – is set to open next year.
