Kibworth Man Takes Part In Covid-19 Vaccine Trial

A Kibworth man who is taking part in a Covid-19 vaccine trial is encouraging others to do the same.

Kevin Feltham had the vaccination in August at Nottingham University and is testing himself weekly for coronavirus, and having regular blood tests to check his anti-body levels.

He is one of thousands across the country taking part in the Oxford University and Oxford Vaccine Group trial, although more people aged over 70 are needed for it.

Kevin, who is aged 71 and a county councillor and member of the Parish Councils in the Kibworths, has experienced no side-effects to date and received seven negative tests for Covid-19.

Potential participants must be available on the 30^th October and the 27^th November.
