Jewellery Shop Raid ‘Not Linked’ To Others In Leics & Northants

Police say they are not linking a raid on a Market Harborough jewellers with similar burglaries.
A motorbike was used to smash the front door open at County Jewellers on the High Street in the early hours of Tuesday.
Last month men on mopeds carried out raids at jewellery shops in Uppingham and Oundle in Northamptonshire.
Police believe the same gang was responsible for both those two raids, but are treating the Harborough one as a ‘standalone’ incident.
A 44 year old man arrested in Corby following the Harborough burglary has been released on bail.
Jewellery including watches and necklaces was stolen.
