Hundreds Of Residents Yet To Claim Energy Support Payment

Hundreds of residents across Harborough are yet to claim a payment to help with the soaring cost of energy bills and will miss out unless they act quickly.

Those who didn’t get the £150 paid directly into their accounts earlier this year were instead sent vouchers and 890 residents have yet to cash them in at the Post Office.

Harborough District Council, which is administering the government support scheme, is urging people to use the voucher soon as the deadline to claim the payment is September 30th.
