Hundreds Of Parcels Stolen From Delivery Van

Hundreds of parcels are missing after thieves stole a delivery van in Market Harborough.
It happened while the driver was making a delivery in Woodward Drive on the Wellington Place estate just before 2pm yesterday.
Leicestershire Police say two men on a motorbike pulled-up and one then got into the vehicle and drove it away.
The empty van was found abandoned near-by
Officers found the van parked up near-by 30 minutes later, but it was empty and the number plates had been removed.
It is believed the parcels, many of which are likely to have contained Christmas gifts, had been transferred to another vehicle.
An appeal for information and witnesses has been launched.
