Challenge Cup Disappointment for The Bees

There was disappointment for Harborough Town last night (30th October) after they were knocked out of the Leicester Challenge Cup by step 3 side Barwell.

Following a closely fought game at the Kirkby Road Sports Ground, an 86th minute goal by the home team clinched them a narrow 4-3 victory over the visitors.

However, the Bees can now concentrate on the second round of the FA Trophy – having been drawn at home to National League South side Chelmsford City.

The clash is scheduled to take place at the Community Ground on Saturday the 18th of November – with a three o’clock kick-off.
