Masked burglar disturbed during Market Harborough break-in attempt

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglar was disturbed trying to climb through a bedroom window at a house in Market Harborough.
The incident happened at a property in The Crescent at around 2.15am today.
A man wearing a balaclava and gloves attempted to climb through a bedroom window but fled after being confronted by the homeowner.
Police say enquiries are continuing and are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information to contact them, quoting incident 78 of 16 July.
