Harborough’s Peacocks Store Saved From Closure

Market Harborough’s Peacocks store has been saved from closure.

The High Street shop, which employs around 8 staff, is one of 200 of the clothing chain’s outlets to be part of a rescue deal announced last week.

Administrators have only now confirmed which of the 400 stores will stay open, after the previous owner collapsed into administration last year, due to the impact of the pandemic.

The store in Harborough has re-opened along with other non-essential retailers.
