Villagers In Hallaton To Vote On Neighbourhood Plan

Residents in Hallaton will vote next month on whether to back a document that will shape the future development of the village.

The Neighbourhood Plan referendum will take place on June 3rd, after Harborough District Council gave the go-ahead for the ballot at a meeting last night.

If more than 50% of those voting support the document, it will be a formally adopted and be considered in all future planning decisions.

If approved it will be the 25th Neighbourhood Plan to come into force in the District.
