Written by HFM News on 25th August 2023
There is a long Bank Holiday weekend of walking in store for two fundraisers from Market Harborough as they trek 100 miles to raise money for LOROS.
Friends Gemma Coller and Juliet Sterland decided to support the Leicestershire Hospice because of the specialist care it provided both their mums, before they lost them to cancer.

The challenge is called ‘Gem and Ju’s 100 Miles for the 2 Sues’ as both their Mums were called Sue.
The duo set off on their sponsored four-day hike around Leicestershire and Northamptonshire today and Gemma spoke to HFM:

Every year, LOROS cares for 2,500 terminally ill patients and their loved ones, and it costs over £8million to run the Hospice every year.
Gemma and Juliet and have already raised over £1,500 in sponsorship and Juliet is appealing for more donations:
LOROS Supporter Engagement Lead, Magda Korytkowska, said: “It is so very uplifting to see Gemma and Juliet raising so much needed funds towards the work of the Hospice. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
”Our dedicated, committed, so generous and creative community supporters will never fail to inspire me. Only with people like Gemma and Juliet we are able to make a difference to those who need us in the most difficult time of their lives. Thank you!”
