An accolade which celebrates equality, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and beyond has been awarded to Harborough District Council.
The LGBT+ Inclusion Award recognises good practice and the advancement of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender inclusion for organisations across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Earlier this month, Harborough District Council again flew the rainbow flag above The Symington Building in Market Harborough to show its support for equality, inclusion and diversity at the start of LGBT History Month.
The award was officially presented to HDC during a ceremony at Trinity House in Leicester – as visible recognition for its commitment to LGBT+inclusive practices.
