Harborough Charity ‘Here To Help’ During Pandemic

The Market Harborough and the Bowdens charity is pledging to do all it can to help people bounce back from the impact of Coronavirus.

It has already provided financial support to groups during the pandemic, including the Jubilee Foodbank, VASL, Home-Start and the Bower House voluntary counselling service.

Chairman Adrian Trotter told Hfm they are keen to help more groups, and individuals:

The charity, which is this year celebrating 450 years of involvement in the community,  was formed from an amalgamation of local charities 26 years ago, but the first mention of any of the founding charities dates back to 1570.

Today it has an overall objective of changing the lives of people in Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden for the better.
