Harborough Business Owners To Meet Council Leader Tonight
Written by HFM News on 11th September 2023
Business owners in Market Harborough will meet the leader of Harborough District Council tonight.
It is the second meeting following July’s religious festival at the town’s Showground, which traders say they should have been given more notice about.
The private event attended by over 2,000 people passed off without incident, but a number of businesses shut their doors for two days over concerns about anti-social behaviour and not being able to cope with large numbers of people.
Cllr Phil Knowles, told HFM Leicestershire Police, officials from Leicestershire County Council and others have also been invited to the meeting:

Traders have been sent letters inviting them to the meeting at the Symington Building at 5.15pm and those going along are asked to confirm their attendance by emailing business@harborough.gov.uk
