Caution Urged As Lockdown Starts To Ease

People across Harborough are being urged to ‘remain cautious’ as coronavirus lockdown restrictions are eased further from today.
Groups of up to six people or two households can now meet outside and open air sports facilities can reopen.
The stay-at-home order has also ended.
Cases of Covid-19 in the Harborough District continue to fall, but Mike Sandys, Director of Public Health for Leicestershire, told Hfm it’s important people remember the pandemic has not gone away:
Borough Alliance FC will resume training and games at Symington’s Rec
Today also signals the re-start of grassroots football.
Mick Draper, Chairman of Borough Alliance Football Club in Market Harborough, which has around 400 young players, says everyone involved can’t wait to soon be able to kick a ball again:
Harborough Town Football Club is also resuming its youth football training and games.
