Go-Ahead Given For New Restaurant In Former Shop

The go-ahead’s been given for a Mediterranean Restaurant to open in the former Goodmans electrical shop in Market Harborough.
Planning permission has been granted for the change of use of the building on St Mary’s Road.
Murat Demirdag, the owner of Venetos Restaurant and Pizza Man in town, is set to spend around £250,000 on the conversion into the eatery, which would seat 80 people and create around ten jobs.
The other businesses will remain open.
Goodmans shut in March after trading for nearly 50 years.
