Fundraising Drive Launched In Memory Of Jamie

A fundraising drive is being launched by a Market Harborough Mum to help research into a rare heart disease which claimed the life of her son.

Julie Greenslade’s apparently healthy son Jamie Phillip died of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome last year.

She an her family are supporting the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young – known as CRY – which carries out research and raises awareness into such conditions in young people.

Julie is taking part in a tandem parachute jump this Saturday with her daughter and sister to raise money and is also appealing for donations of secondhand books, ahead of a sale in the foyer at Tesco’s in Market Harborough to boost the fundraising even more:
