Fraudster Jailed Thanks To Quick-Thinking Co-Op Staff

A teenage fraudster who targeted Co-Ops across Leicestershire was caught red handed thanks to quick-thinking staff at the store in Great Glen and a fast response by Police.

Workers recognised Anton Nilvos as the same person who’d been in the week before and used a cloned credit card to buy items.

They told him to come back half an hour later because the card machine wasn’t working.

In the meantime Police arrived at the store on Main Street and waited in a back-office, arresting him at the counter when he returned.

19 year old Nilvos from Birmingham pleaded guilty to making 32 dishonest transactions , totaling £6,000, and has been jailed for 6 months at Leicester Crown Court.
