Plans have been announced to transform the former Carpetright store in Market Harborough into a 24-hour gym.
PureGym wants to move into the unit off Rockingham Road, which has been empty since the shop closed in July, when retailer went into administration.
The firm, which runs over 350 gyms across the UK, is seeking permission from Harborough District Council to operate the venue round-the-clock and make internal changes, to accommodate facilities and changing areas.

“PureGym Market Harborough will provide members with 24/7 access to a high-quality gym with state-of-the-art equipment, classes and PTs, all at affordable prices and with complete flexibility.”
