Former Bank Set To Be Transformed Into Restaurant & Bar

Market Harborough’s former NatWest Bank is set to be transformed into a restaurant and cocktail bar.

The building on St Mary’s Road would become the new home for the Everest Lounge restaurant if plans are approved, with the business re-locating from its existing base near-by.

The plan includes creating the main dining room on the ground floor, a ‘banquet experience’ in one of the former bank vaults and a cocktail bar on the first floor, whilst retaining the character of the building.

The premises have stood empty since the bank closed in January 2023 and a planning application has been submitted to Harborough District Council, to change to use of it.
