Passengers have been getting a first glimpse of new state-of-the-art trains which will serve Market Harborough from later this year.
The £400m Aurora intercity fleet is set to be introduced by East Midlands Railway in the autumn.

Test-runs and staff training aboard the new fleet is underway and eagle-eyed rail users from Market Harborough spotted one of the trains at St Pancras station in London.
The trains can be powered by electricity or diesel and will take to the tracks following the multi-million pound electrification of part of the Midland Mainline, including through the Harborough area.
EMR has previously said: “As a result, they are quieter and greener, meaning lower carbon emissions and a better environment for our passengers, stations and communities along the route.
“Major improvements to the new state of the art trains include more seats, modern interiors, air conditioning, free WiFi, plug sockets and better passenger information screens.”
