Final Go-Ahead For Church Modernisation

Major plans to modernise Market Harborough’s Dionysius Church have been given the final go-ahead.

The scheme at Grade One listed building will include the removal of the rest of the old pews, so the space can be used for other activities when services are not being hled, a new kitchen and toilets, alongside upgraded heating and lighting.

The Leicester Diocese has approved the ‘re-ordering’ project, which will cost around £1.5m, through fundraising and grants.
