Ewe Shall Not Pass! Runaway Sheep Block Road

Drivers got an unexpected surprise last night when a flock of around 30 sheep blocked a main road near Desborough.
Police were called to the B576 Rothwell Road shortly after 10.30pm after several motorists raised the alarm.

The road was briefly closed while the farmer rounded up the four-legged escapees and safely guided them back into their field.
It re-opened just before 11pm.
