The popular owner of a scrapyard near Desborough is thanking customers as he retires and closes the business after 40 years.
Frank Beale is hanging up his overalls after helping thousands of people dispose of unwanted vehicles and thousands more gather parts, during his time running the breaker’s yard at the old airfield.

It’s the end of an era for the 78-year-old who has served the motor trade for 50 years, after previously running scrapyards near Kettering.
