Drivers Warned Of Overnight Closure Of M1 Roundabout Near Lutterworth

Drivers who use the A4304 between Market Harborough and Lutterworth are being warned the roundabout above junction 20 of the M1 will be closed overnight this weekend.

It will be shut from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow and then from 8pm til 6am on Saturday and Sunday.

The closure, which will also be in place next weekend, is needed so resurfacing work can take place.

Councillor Ozzy O’ Shea, cabinet member for highways and transport at Leicestershire County Council, said: “This work is part of our wider package of road resurfacing.

“It’s been scheduled to cause the least disruption to motorists as possible and will help us continue to improve our road network.”

A diversion route for drivers will be signposted when the closures are in force.
