A farming machine which overheated sparked a large field fire yesterday afternoon.
Five fire crews tackled the blaze in Rushton near Desborough, which spread quickly due to the dry conditions and wind.

Firefighters from Desborough, Rothwell, Kettering, Thrapston and Burton Latimer were sent to deal with the incident just before 2pm.
A spokesperson for Desborough Fire Station told HFM: “Due to the wind changing directions it was very challenging to get under control, the crews used beaters, hose reels and our ultra high pressure lances.
“Needless to say the crews worked extremely hard in hot conditions.”
