Drivers Injured In A6 Crash

Two people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A6 bypass near Market Harborough this morning.
A Ford Fiesta van and Mercedes were involved in the collision near the McDonald’s roundabout just before 8am – the Mercedes ended up in a ditch.

The fire service was called amid fears drivers were trapped, although they were able to get out before being placed in the care of the Ambulance Service.
Police say the injuries are not believed to be serious – the road was blocked for a time.
