Council Declare ‘Climate Emergency’

Harborough Council has declared a Climate Emergency.
The move received unanimous support from councillors when they met last night and means the authority pledging to do more to tackle climate change locally and developing an action plan to work towards being carbon neutral by 2030.
In March a group of Welland Park Academy students held a protest calling for the action.
