Driver Crashes After Failing To Stop For Police On A14

Two people have been arrested after a car driver crashed on the A14 near Kelmarsh after failing to stop for Police officers.
It happened on the westbound carriageway near junction two just before 1pm today.

Northamptonshire Police say a 22-year-old woman from Corby was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
A 21-year-old man from Daventry was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Both remain in custody.
The westbound carriageway was closed for over an hour between junction three near Rothwell and junction 2, while the incident was dealt with.
