Drink Driver Stopped By Motorist

A drink driver has been banned from the roads for 18 months after another motorist forced him to stop and took his keys.

Niall Derry came to a halt on Stonton Road, near Church Langton, after being seen on the wrong side of the road by the other driver on October the 27th.

Police were called and the 22-year-old of Ingarsby Road, Keyham, Leicester, was found to be nearly twice the legal drink drive limit and was arrested.

He was also fined £120 by Leicester Magistrates and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
