A worker at a care home in Desborough has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Heather Holmes care home on Rushton Road says it is now working closely with Public Health England and following their advice.
The case is being treated as ‘low-risk’.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “Our social care and public health teams are working with partners to provide support.
“We will also be looking at next steps to see what further support can be provided.
“The case is considered to be low risk.”
It’s not known how many residents are currently living at the home, which provides for people with learning and physical disabilities.
A spokesman for the home said: “We can confirm that a member of staff has tested positive for COVID-19.
“The health and well-being of the people we support, and our members of staff, is our absolute priority.
“We are working closely with Public Health England and following their instruction.”
