Crash & Vehicle Fire On A6 Bypass

A vehicle set on fire after it was involved in a crash on the A6 Great Glen bypass this morning.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway between Great Glen and Kibworth just before 9am.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say the fire was quickly extinguished when firefighters arrived.
The service added one casualty was treated at the scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service, after experiencing chest pains.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and the vehicles recovered.
