Cows Make Surprise Visit To Harborough Residents

Residents in lock-down in part of Market Harborough had some free entertainment last night – eight cows parading through their streets.

The two cows and six calves had escaped from a field off Kettering Road before wandering onto the Ashley Way estate.

Police were called just before 7pm and stopped the animals from posing a risk to drivers before the farmer was alerted to guide them safely back home with the assistance of officers.
