Council Pledges To Help Businesses & Workers Impacted By Coronavirus

Harborough Council is pledging to do all it can to assist businesses who have been badly affected by the impact of Coronavirus and people left out of work as a result.
Last week it was revealed the number of people claiming unemployment benefits in the Harborough District has doubled since the pandemic began.
Council Leader Phil King spoke to Hfm:
The Council has already held Virtual meetings with the Market Harborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce, and other business organisations ,to discuss the challenges being faced and more are planned.
