The former factory, owned by North Northamptonshire Council, is set to be demolished, but there is no confirmed start date for the work and it remains on the market for sale.
The council says the site is monitored by CCTV and that security measures are being strengthened.
A spokesperson said: “We are aware of increasing concerns regarding unauthorised access to the site, particularly by youths. The site is monitored by CCTV, and our contractors respond to all activations.
“We are also working proactively with contractors to strengthen security measures, including improving boarding to the building and addressing damage to the perimeter fencing, which has unfortunately been escalating.
“In addition, we are actively engaging with the police and other relevant partners to help address the issues being experienced and to mitigate further risk.”
